About TennanSeed
We help landlords and property managers organise maintenance, follow repair progress and keep property records together. You’ll work directly with the Founder & Senior Engineer as we develop our property technology product.
What you’ll do
Take responsibility for agreed testing and support tasks, with a broader workload than the learning placement.
- Run agreed test cases for sign-in, navigation, repairs, property records and file uploads using test accounts and fictional data.
- Record Android version, device model, app version, reproduction steps, expected and actual results.
- Retest fixes, carry out regression checks and summarise findings for the founder.
- Help maintain test checklists, support guidance and approved responses to product enquiries.
- Flag accessibility and usability problems, and handle any assigned support access under agreed permissions.
What you’ll bring
Attention to detail, clear written communication and a methodical approach. Previous QA experience is useful, but evidence of careful troubleshooting is welcome.
- Confidence using Android apps and explaining issues clearly.
- Ability to organise test results and follow agreed data-handling instructions.
- Willingness to learn product workflows and distinguish a bug from a feature request.
Pay, hours and access
Pay, set weekly hours, working days, duties, equipment arrangements and written employment terms will be agreed before starting. Assigned training and testing time will be paid. Access to test builds depends on the relevant Google Play testing arrangements. Customer records must not appear in screenshots or personal bug-reporting tools.
Fixed-term contract
This is a temporary, fixed-term position. The contract length, start and end dates, weekly hours, working days and pay will be agreed in writing before starting. Extension or a permanent position is not guaranteed.
